Create a trigger on <agent>, given as the agent id (`my-agent`) or its resource name (agents/my-agent).

Exactly one kind: the `--teams-`\* flags register a Microsoft Teams entry point, the `--cron-`\* flags a schedule. The kind is immutable afterwards.

The trigger id is assigned by the server unless `--id` names one. The full resource name is printed on success; the other verbs take it verbatim.

## [](#usage)Usage

```bash
rpk ai trigger create [flags]
```

## [](#flags)Flags

| Value | Type | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| --cron-input | string | schedule: message text each scheduled run sends to the agent. |
| --cron-schedule | string | schedule: standard 5-field cron expression, for example, "0 9 * * 1-5". |
| --cron-timezone | string | schedule: IANA timezone the schedule is evaluated in, for example, "Europe/Prague" (required for a cron trigger; the server never falls back to UTC). |
| --description | string | longer description of what the trigger is for. |
| --display-name | string | user-facing label shown in the UI. |
| --enabled | bool | whether the trigger is live immediately after creation. |
| --id | string | client-supplied trigger id (DNS-1123 label); server-assigned when omitted. |
| --teams-bot-app-id | string | Microsoft Teams: Azure Bot Application (client) ID. |
| --teams-bot-app-secret-ref | string | Microsoft Teams: secret-store key holding the bot client secret (bare UPPER_SNAKE_CASE, never the secret itself). |
| --teams-bot-tenant-id | string | Microsoft Teams: Azure AD Directory (tenant) ID. |

## [](#global-flags)Global flags

| -X, --config-opt | stringArray | Override rpk configuration settings; -X help for detail or -X list for terser detail. |
| --ignore-profile | bool | Ignore rpk.yaml and redpanda.yaml; use default settings. |
| --profile | string | rpk profile to use. |
| -v, --verbose | bool | Enable verbose logging. |
