Update one trigger. <name> is the full resource name, for example, agents/my-agent/triggers/t1a2b3c4.

Only the flags you pass are changed. `--enabled=false` pauses the trigger, keeping its config and run history; `--enabled=true` resumes it from the next scheduled instant onward (no catch-up).

The kind is immutable: `--cron-`\* flags only apply to a trigger that is already a schedule, `--teams-`\* only to one that is already Teams. To change kind, delete and recreate.

## [](#usage)Usage

```bash
rpk ai trigger update [flags]
```

## [](#flags)Flags

| Value | Type | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| --cron-input | string | schedule: message text each scheduled run sends to the agent. |
| --cron-schedule | string | schedule: standard 5-field cron expression, for example, "0 9 * * 1-5". |
| --cron-timezone | string | schedule: IANA timezone the schedule is evaluated in, for example, "Europe/Prague" (required for a cron trigger; the server never falls back to UTC). |
| --description | string | new description. |
| --display-name | string | new user-facing label. |
| --enabled | bool | whether the trigger is live; --enabled=false pauses it. |
| --teams-bot-app-id | string | Microsoft Teams: Azure Bot Application (client) ID. |
| --teams-bot-app-secret-ref | string | Microsoft Teams: secret-store key holding the bot client secret (bare UPPER_SNAKE_CASE, never the secret itself). |
| --teams-bot-tenant-id | string | Microsoft Teams: Azure AD Directory (tenant) ID. |

## [](#global-flags)Global flags

| Value | Type | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| --config | string | Redpanda or rpk config file; default search paths are ~/.config/rpk/rpk.yaml, $PWD/redpanda.yaml, and /etc/redpanda/redpanda.yaml. |
| -X, --config-opt | stringArray | Override rpk configuration settings; -X help for detail or -X list for terser detail. |
| --ignore-profile | bool | Ignore rpk.yaml and redpanda.yaml; use default settings. |
| --profile | string | rpk profile to use. |
| -v, --verbose | bool | Enable verbose logging. |
