# Lint a MCP tools configuration

**POST /v1/redpanda-connect/mcp-servers:lint-config**

Validates a given MCP tool's configuration and returns linting hints. Each tool's YAML configuration is validated. If no problems are found, the response is empty.

  Map of tool names to their configurations. Each tool contains YAML configuration.

Linting finished. See `lint_hints` for details.

  Map of tool names to their linting issues. Empty if no issues are found.

Unauthenticated.
