The `atand()` function returns the inverse tangent (arctangent) of a specified argument, expressed in degrees. See also [`atan()`](https://docs.redpanda.com/cloud-data-platform/reference/sql/sql-functions/math-functions/atan/) to return the result in radians, and [`atan2d()`](https://docs.redpanda.com/cloud-data-platform/reference/sql/sql-functions/math-functions/atan2d/) to calculate the arctangent of a ratio of two arguments.
